Dear Health Care:I’ve been prescribed Diflucan. I’ve also been prescribed Prozac and I’m interested in knowing if there is a better option that is more affordable.
The question is, is there anything that is better?
I am in the process of writing an article about my experience with Prozac. I’m interested in trying to find a cheaper alternative to the antidepressant, fluoxetine. I can see a good price for Prozac for $1.50 per month, or at $4.50 per month for a 10-day course. I don’t think I would like Prozac to be available as a generic version.
I’m a long-time reader of this blog and I can’t find an alternative.
I’d like to be able to get a drug that is affordable, that has a low cost, and that has side effects that outweigh any benefit to the patient.
I’ve found Prozac is also an option for people who are allergic to fluoxetine. I’m interested in learning whether there is a better option that is more affordable.
